Rav Elazar Menachem Man Shach Zt”l also known as Rav Shach Zt”l was a leading Charedi Rabbi in Bnei Brak, Israel. Additionally, he served as one of the Rosh Yeshiva of Ponevezh Yeshiva. Rav Shach Zt”l was born in Lithuania in 1899 and passed away at the age of 102 in 2001.
This extremely revered Rabbi has been a great source of inspiration for me as from a young age I grew up with his ideas and guidance.
I chose this composition showing him deep in thought, likely reflecting on his Torah learning, as it gives the viewer a sense of serenity and stimulates contemplation and the pursuing of ones own inner thoughts.
